Jan 21, 2006· Hi. just wondered what the score is on re-using clay pebbles after a hydro grow ( in posts flood and drain) what we have been doing is shaking off the lose ones to reuse and throwing away the most root bound ones, then cleaning them throughly and pulling out any odd root bits, but obviously some bits of root remain.
